Following the success of the food and wine events organised in collaboration with B2B International Group in October 2023 in London and in October 2024 in Pavia, where the Gusto Quality Awards were presented, GUSTO FOOD AND BEVERAGE has decided to create an event designed to introduce high quality regional Italian wines and selected Italian Food Excellencies to the UK market.
The event, developed again in partnership with B2B INTERNATIONAL GROUP based in Modena and the food & beverage company LO SCUDO DI ZAVAGNO based in Lugano (Switzerland), and with the extraordinary collaboration of the Executive Chef Giuseppe Silvestri and Pastry Chef Michela Sola will once again reward the quality of made in Italy, with the "Bacchus Awards", and will take place on Wednesday 19 March 2024 at Crypt on the Green in Little Italy (Clerkenwell) in central London.
The event will be an opportunity for participating producers to showcase and have their wines tasted by a qualified audience of professional buyers, with the possibility of establishing commercial negotiations to enter the UK market. In addition, participating companies will be able during the event to sell their products directly to gourmet visitors and compete for a series of awards and prizes for the best products presented.
We would like, together with all of you, to make a further small contribution with this event, on the one hand to the search for the best quality ‘made in Italy’ wine and food, with the awarding of the Bacchus Awards and at the same time to give participating companies the opportunity making contacts with qualified buyers in the United Kingdom.

The event is mainly reserved for Italian wine and spirits producers and distributors, as well as selected producers and distributors of gastronomic excellencies, interested in promoting the quality of Made in Italy and meeting UK professionals to whom they can present and have their products tasted and with whom they can immediately establish business negotiations and even sell their products directly to the gourmet visitors of the exhibition market.
The event will take place from the morning of Wednesday 19 March 2025 with a market exhibition of excellent wines and selected gastronomic delicacies.
We will invite the Consul and other Italian personalities for the opening of the event itself.
Around 17:30 there will be the Award ceremony for the winning companies of the first edition of the ‘Bacchus Awards’.

The Market Exhibition is reserved mainly for Italian wine and spirits producers and distributors, as well as some selected producers and distributors of gastronomic excellence, interested in promoting the quality of Made in Italy and in meeting professional operators from the UK to whom they can present and have their products tasted and with whom they can immediately establish business negotiations. The producers present will have the opportunity not only to present their products and to establish sales negotiations with qualified buyers, but also to sell their products directly to the gourmet visitors of the exhibition.

Two wine masterclasses are planned during the event, to be held by Senior Head Sommelier Livio Italiani. PRESENTED BY SENIOR HEAD SOMMELIER LIVIO ITALIANI
A wine expert with almost 30 years of significant experience in the Hospitality industry. He has been President of the English branch of the Italian Sommelier Association from 1999 to 2006. Wine tutoring for professionals and private costumers, He has organised wine trips abroad and Wine fairs in conjunction with The Italian Trade Centre in London and other wine organisation.

The event, will also include the Bacchus Awards for the best products presented by participating companies. The Bacchus Awards aim to reward the quality' of Italian wine products.
For each producer present at the showcase, the products on display will be judged by a Jury Panel, a panel of buyers, Chefs, Sommeliers Food and Wine Experts. Different categories of products and product characteristics will be awarded.

During the Market Exhibition, buffet tables for tasting the various gastronomic specialities will be set up by the food companies present, open to all visitors to the Exhibition.
